Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (Kansas City, MO): Daniel J. Kingston is now chief investment officer. W.K. Kellogg Foundation (Battle Creek, MI): Donna Lartigue is the new program director for Battle Creek programming. John S. and James L. Knight Foundation (Miami): Denise Tom joined as journalism initiatives program officer. Minnesota Community Foundation (St. Paul): Barbara Beard is now director of donor services. Missouri Foundation for Health (St. Louis): Added four program officers: Dawn Marie Williams, Kathryn E. DeForest, Andrea K. Smith and Amy M. Stringer; Damon U. Green joined as event coordinator. Charles Stewart Mott Foundation (Flint, MI): Promoted three associate program officers to program officers: Neal R. Hegerty, Pathways out of Poverty; Tamás A. Open Society Institute (New York City) Added two associate directors in grantmaking and program development: Alvin Starks, for fellows and technical assistance, and Maria Teresa Rojas, for philanthropy and internal communications. The Skillman Foundation (Detroit): Alan Harris joined as director of investments, and Julie Ermler joined as accounting manager. The Community Foundation in Jacksonville (FL): Cynthia Edelman, art history and art appreciation instructor at the Bolles School, was elected to the board. William E. Scheu, attorney with Rogers, Towers, Bailey, Jones & Gay, was elected vice chair and Ann M. Baker, co-founder of the Arts Assembly and Greenscape, was re-elected as chair. Cooper Foundation (Lincoln, NE): Jack D. Campbell, president of Compensation Programs, Inc., was elected board chair. He succeeds the late E.N. "Jack" Thompson, long-time chair, past president and trustee. Ford Foundation (New York City): Juliet V. García, president of the University of Texas at Brownsville, was elected to the board. The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis: G. Elaine Johnson, former director of compensation and human resources manager at ITT Educational Services, Inc., joined the board of directors.
