William Randolph Hearst Foundation (New York City): William Randolph Hearst III was named president to succeed the late Millicent Hearst Boudjakdji. Designer and artist Anissa Boudjakdji Balson was named a director.

Hugh J. Andersen Foundation (Bayport, MN): Bradley E. Kruse is now program officer.

Atlanta Women's Foundation: Malkia M'Buzi Moore is now director of programs.

Carnegie Hero Fund Commission (Pittsburgh): Dan D. Sandman, vice chairman and chief legal and administrative officer, general counsel and secretary of United States Steel, was elected to the board.

Columbus Foundation (Ohio): John B. "Jay" Gerlach, Jr., chairman, president and CEO of Lancaster Colony Corporation, was appointed to the governing committee.

Dade Community Foundation (Miami) The board of governors elected officers: Jimmy Morales, Miami-Dade Commissioner and shareholder of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., as chair; Richard C. Milstein, shareholder in Akerman, Senterfitt & Eidson, P.A., as vice chair; Maricarmen Martinez, principal with Upstairs Studio, Inc. Architects, as secretary; and Richard Lavina, senior vice president of La Salle Bank, N.A., as treasurer.

Donors Forum of South Florida (Miami): Elected a board of directors: Chairman Mary Riedel is community affairs manager, Sun-Sentinel Company, and Vice Chairman Steven Marcus is president and CEO, Health Foundation of South Florida. Secretary Barbara Garrett is senior vice president of Applica, Inc., and Treasurer Suzette Prude is community liaison program officer, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Elivio Serrano, executive vice president of United Way of Palm Beach County, was elected executive committee at large member. Newly elected to the board are Patricia Boero, senior manager of global public affairs, Levi Strauss Foundation; Ann Henderson, president of Rodel Foundation–Key West; and Richard Kwal, trustee of the Clarence Wolf, Jr., & Alma B. Wolf Foundation, who was also elected assistant treasurer.

Greater Everett Community Foundation (WA): Incoming trustees are John E. Corbally, director emeritus of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation; David Duskin, attorney and managing shareholder in the law firm of Bailey, Duskin, Peiffle and Canfield, P.S.; and Jo Noack, attorney with Bell & Ingram, P.S. The foundation's board officers for 2003 will be Greg Goldfinch, president, Goldfinch Bros., as president; James G. Finley, retired medical director, the Everett Clinic, as vice president; Gigi Burke, executive vice president, Crown Distributing, as secretary; and Dan Gaffney, CPA, Moss Adams, as treasurer.

Houston Endowment: The board of directors elected D. Kent Anderson, former president of Allied Bancshares and former chairman and CEO of First Interstate Bank of Texas and Post Oak Bank, as chair. Anthony W. Hall, Jr., city attorney for the City of Houston, was elected to the board.

Jewish Fund (Bloomfield Hills, MI): David K. Page is the new chair, and Robert H. Naftaly is vice chair.

Kalamazoo Community Foundation: Appointed Jeffrey L. DeNooyer, general manager of Metro Toyota, as its chairperson. Marilyn J. Schlack, president of Kalamazoo Valley Community College, was appointed vice chairperson.

W.K. Kellogg Foundation (Battle Creek, MI): Fred P. Keller, chairman and CEO of Cascade Engineering, joined the board.

Missouri Foundation for Health (St. Louis): Elected three new board members: Dr. Steve M. Pu, surgeon and medical director of Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center; Gertrude "Trudi" Scott, nurse practitioner and coordinator of the Children's Clinical Outreach Services for Cox Health Systems; H. Lynn Stuhlman, real estate broker and health educator. Three board members were re-elected: Martha Gragg, CEO, Sullivan County Memorial Hospital and emergency room nurse; Rev. Booker T. Rice, senior pastor, New Horizon Seventh Day Christian Church; and Karl Wilson, psychologist, and president and CEO, Crider Center for Mental Health.

Presbyterian Health Foundation (Oklahoma City): Named Michael D. Anderson president and Carl Edwards chairman. Anderson succeeds Jean G. Gumerson, now president emeritus; and Edwards succeeds Stanton L. Young, now chairman emeritus.

Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation (Little Rock, AR): The board of directors elected Bob Nash, vice chairman of ShoreBank, as chair and four new board members: Ivye Allan, chief operating officer, MDC, Inc.; O.V. Brantley, Fulton County (GA) attorney; Al Lopez, school/community liaison for Springdale (AK) public schools; and Mary Sanchez, Hispanic education coordinator, Credit Counseling of Arkansas.
